If McCain wins, he and Huck will run together.
The GOP claims that any of their guys can beat Hillary or Obama. Is this just the standard optimistic political rhetoric?
However it pans out, in a decade we'll look back to Ron Paul as the voice in the wilderness calling out with only a minority listening.....

You're probably right that Huckabee would fill out a McCain ticket, but Romney would have to be an idiot to take on such a huge political liability like Giuliani. If Romney gets the nom, I think McCain will join his ticket. The guy brings in independents, which would certainly benefit Romney after his aggressive charge to the right during the primary. Besides, McCain's already got experience as a Senator, and isn't President of the Senate, like, the ONLY job description for a VP mentioned in the Constitution?
You think McCain and Romney? I guess I'm thinking personalities and the attacking that has been going back and forth. Once its all over, do politicians just kiss, make up, and then be partners? This is the first primary I've followed closely, so if that's how it works I didn't know. I'd still be surprised, though.
I thought that Giuliani might give the appearance of someone who'd be strong on domestic security, a compliment to Romney's perceived economic strength....

I don't see McCain and Huck on the same ticket. Yes they represent two sides of the Repub. ticket but I don't think we'll see it happen - we'd sooner see a McCain/Libberman ticket.
Likely, McCain will pick either a know commodity in the Repub. party like a James Baker or Colin Powell type or one of the also ran candidates like Thompson or Hunter.
Romney might be interesting. If McCain thinks Romney will play nice, bring votes and money to the table it could happen. Reagan/Bush had some heated debates and they ended up as running mates...
